What makes NAR so special?

Although NAR has its eyes set on future innovation we firmly believe in keeping our legacy to its original foundations. For our historic and classic car markets we believe manufacturing parts to the original specifications and designs are paramount. We use the traditional methods of tooling and pressings for the majority of our high end radiators. NAR purchased the original press tooling and castings from Serck, who handled radiators and related cooling components for the Jaguar E-Type, specifically noted for models ranging from 1964 to 1968. Unlike other radiator companies who fabricate end tanks or source their pressings from international suppliers you are getting a piece of original tooling history, exactly like the originals were made, that is unmatched provenance and authenticity you wont find anywhere else. We are also the only company in the United Kingdom to have an inhouse core manufacturing department and have deep OEM relations with both Aston Martin & Jaguar.

Our material varies from aluminium to copper and brass depending on preference. All our aluminium products have a 40% improvement in heat transfer and 65% reduction in weight compared to the original. Our copper and brass products have over 30% improvement of heat transfer.

Our cooling components are created with high quality materials with an attention to detail to match the original specifications

All our products are powder coated in house giving us complete control over quality before dispatch. We typically offer silver, black or natural finish.

Design

When designing our products we use CATIA and SOLID WORKS. During the design phase we use simulation express, where we can introduce forces to perform stress analysis checks.

Our Design approach reduces both costs and project time which ultimately bring the product faster to market. For example, we can examine the effects of force applied to a component in a given condition. Simulation express simulates the effects of force and provides displacement and stress results. We can then strengthen or redesign unsafe parts or remove material from over-designed areas of the component. Click for more info
